"This is more than a hobby for me, music is my life"

Yung Blaza is a 23-year-old North Carolina native with sardonic song writing and quality engineering. Developing his craft since 2001, Blaza has grabbed styles from artists such as Jay-Z, Outkast, UGK, Kanye West and T.I.

Within the last two years, Yung Blaza has launched six car bumping mixtapes. He has worked with the Trapoholics and Waka Flocka and been featured in Empire Radio Magazine. He has traveled across the East Coast, headlining shows with Bad Boy's E-Ness and performing for Def Jam, Bad Boy and Sonny Red Entertainment.

"It’s now or never. This is more than a hobby for me, music is my life," Blaza said. His 2010 mixtape, "BlazaHAM Lincoln," has turned skeptics into believers. In a recent interview, Grind 2 Tha Shine Magazine asked Yung Blaza the inspiration behind his Trap-O-Holics mixtape.

"I titled the mixtape 'BlazaHAM Lincoln' because I bring a presidential approach to every song and all the beats go ham. I chose Abraham Lincoln to play off of because I feel like haters want to see my dreams assassinated," he said.

Blaza is continuing success with his lastest work "Dreams of  Victory/Nightmares of Defeat." The album went gold on Datpiff in less than 5 months and created a national buzz that still grows today. Download the first single on the album, "Love Triangle," a clever analogy of his relationship with women and money. Listen Enjoy!
